I think this can be true, but I found backend dev some time before other members and had some additional time to work on backend.

And from the other side we had a solid microservice template to start with, so actually there were no huge additional costs compared to monolithic architecture for example.

But it helped us significantly when we were changing directions as only small parts were rebuilt in the services responsible for these changes. And we were not struggling with bugs or burdens because of this decoupling
